Throughout the years, we have been overjoyed to host and incubate industry leaders, unique startups and determined entrepreneurs. Some companies have come and gone, while others remain as vital fixtures of our shared workplaces to this day! Whether your company needs part-time, full-time or virtual office space, we offer flexible solutions on a pay-as-you-need basis. Today, we would like to highlight three fantastic organizations that are accomplishing incredible feats in legal, tax and insurance business sectors.

VC Taskforce provides a system of legal, business and financial services through programs that offer strategic, tactical and real-time information dealing with the immediate needs of portfolio companies and venture capitalists. Their forum provides an interactive forum for a variety of investors to help them better manage their businesses and achieve further success in their field. This way, those in the venture community can provide input to reach fast results that will benefit all those involved. They operate on the principles that visionary thinking and honest discussion offer incredible results. We sponsored a full-time office space at our Palo Alto location for them from November 2008 to June 2014, and have become big fans of their recurring “elevation pitch” contest, which is helpful for entrepreneurs to hone their presentation skills. While we are sad they are no longer with us, we are proud to have donated office space for over five years to promote their worthy cause!

Grant Thornton LLP is a member of Grant Thornton International Ltd, which is one of the leading organizations and sixth largest for independent tax, audit and advisory firms in the world.They were founded in 1924, and now boast 57 offices, 500 partners and over 6,000 employees across the country. Some of the main industries they operate in include not-for-profit, technology, financial services and private equity. They are dedicated to fostering responsible entrepreneurship in innovative organizations, helping them achieve holistic growth. Throughout the years, they have received titles such as “Best Places to Work” by Crain’s Chicago Business in 2013 and one of Working Mother’s “Best Companies” from 2006 to 2014. They began as a full-time client in 2008 at our Sacramento Capitol office space with three employees and one office. Since this time, they now operate out of three offices where they host regional meetings and receive guests from across the U.S. each week.

Poms & Associates has been offering insurance brokers for properties, sureties, liabilities and automobiles since they were formed in 1991. Over the years, they have expanded to include almost 200 employees in offices across the country. Instead of dictating to the insurance buyer, as a company, they focus on educating their clients on best industry practices. As a company, they are committed to representing their clients’ best interests through partnering with them to comprehend their particular risk and needs. They leased full-time office space at our Walnut Creek location from July 2012 to September 2013. During their time with us, they began with two offices and quickly expanded to 13 offices before moving out into their own traditional space.
