For as long as we have be in business, we have leased or incubated rising or established companies, entrepreneurs and startups at our many convenient locations throughout southern California. This article is a part of an ongoing series that highlights each of these companies and why they are so important to Pacific Workplaces. For this article, we will focus on three companies that are household names and leaders in their respective fields.

Caterpillar Inc. is an American-owned, world-leading provider and manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, along with industrial turbines, diesel-electric locomotives, and diesel and natural gas engines. The company is widely recognized by its trademark “Caterpillar yellow” design and notable CAT logo. They signed a three-month agreement with us at our Bakersfield office space in June 2012. Caterpillar housed 17 operation and logistic managers in five offices and a conference room for the last three months of their construction on a parts distribution warehouse. We love that they chose our services and that were were able to accommodate their needs.

Fetch! Pet Care is one of the country’s leading and most trusted franchise providers of professional pet sitting and walking services. They stand apart from other large pet service chains, as each of their locations is locally owned and operated, so pet owners can rest assured that their precious pet will be in good hands. While there are many options when you need to have someone watch your beloved family pet, you don’t want to trust just anyone. This is where Fetch! Pet Care prides themselves on providing their customers with convenience, peace of mind, availability, certified sitters and much more. They joined the Pacific Workplaces family in September 2008 when they came to us to lease a Virtual Office plan at our fantastic Walnut Creek office space!

AT&T is a multinational telecommunications organization that is the second largest mobile phone provider and leading company for land lines in the country. Founded in 1983, it has expanded exponentially, placing it as the 23rd largest company in the entire world as of 2014, according to a comprehensive look at all of their assets, profits, market value and revenue. AT&T first turned to us for help in November 2012, where they leased a full-time office space in our Oakland office space for one of their fantastic employees until October 2014. During this time, they used our shared space to establish a local network and used it as the headquarters for their Bay Area representatives. After laying the foundations for the local market, they eventually moved on to a bigger space, yet we are always proud to say we had a part in their growth!
