Pacific Workplaces Health & Safety Commitment

In line with our mission to provide affordable, accessible workspace for all, Pacific Workplaces is dedicated to ensuring that each community member who utilizes our spaces does so in an environment that prioritizes safety, security, and inclusion.

Our commitment to health and safety is demonstrated through the following principles:

  1. Inclusivity and Respect for All
Pacific Workplaces fosters a culture of respect and care for all individuals within our spaces, regardless of color, creed, race, religion, or personal disposition. This inclusive approach extends not only to our staff but especially to our valued members, affectionately known as “PACmates,” and their guests. We believe that diversity and respect are foundational to a thriving, innovative workspace community.
  2. Commitment to Cleanliness & Safety
We uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and hazard prevention to ensure a productive, safe environment for everyone in our community. This includes strict adherence to government health regulations across all Pacific Workplaces locations and staff levels. Our policies are carefully crafted and continuously updated to meet evolving standards and legal requirements, ensuring that all spaces remain compliant and supportive of members’ well-being.
  3. Proactive Health Compliance
In response to current health landscapes, Pacific Workplaces continually reviews and implements infectious disease prevention standards in close alliance with public health guidelines. This includes protocols to mitigate risks associated with infectious diseases, including COVID-19. Through these measures, we aim to create a workspace where members can feel secure in the knowledge that their health is a top priority.
  4. Emergency Preparedness and Response
At Pacific Workplaces, we believe that a safe workplace is an organized workplace. To prepare for unforeseen events, we’ve established clear and effective emergency procedures tailored to each of our locations. Depending on the site, this may include designated evacuation routes, fire escape plans, shelter-in-place protocols, and easily accessible emergency contact information, ensuring help is always within reach. Our commitment to an organized workspace layout not only supports daily productivity but also promotes safety by providing clear, unobstructed pathways for swift evacuation when necessary.
  5. Sanitized and Well-Maintained Shared Equipment
Every piece of shared equipment and all common facilities are kept to the highest maintenance and sanitation standards, reinforcing our commitment to a safe, productive workspace that minimizes distractions. These efforts are designed to support the seamless day-to-day operations of our PACmates, allowing them to focus fully on their work in a well-organized and conducive environment.
  6. Sustainability Initiative
Alongside maintaining our local community, Pacific Workplaces continues to strive towards a more sustainable workplace, and thus, a better world for all. To do so, we’ve established company-wide protocols following guidelines set by SUPER (Single Use Plastic Elimination or Reduction) which reflect our commitment to reducing plastic waste in our operations. From reducing single-use plastics to promoting recycling and waste reduction, our goal is to minimize our environmental footprint while creating a workspace that supports both productivity and sustainability.
  7. Dedication to Our Community and Environment
Pacific Workplaces recognizes that our impact extends beyond the walls of our facilities. We hold ourselves accountable not only to the high standards of our physical spaces but also to the broader wellbeing of the communities we serve. We strive for excellence in stewardship, aiming to be responsive to the needs and concerns of our diverse community members. It is our goal to cultivate environments where everyone feels supported, valued, and able to thrive.
