NextSpace is such an amazing coworking space! I highly recommend it to anyone stopping through the area or looking for a long-term coworking spot. The space has everything you could need for a productive work environment, and more importantly, it has a beautiful sense of community with lots of fun events. Harlen and Ashleigh are both incredibly kind and accommodating to any needs, and everyone there is so welcoming and happy to connect. I’m really excited for the opportunity to return!

The best coworking spot in Santa Cruz!

I’m so grateful to have stumbled across NextSpace. After four years of being fully remote, transitioning into a coworking space was a necessary change of pace. I am immensely fortunate to have my first introduction to coworking spots be here. Harlen and Ashleigh go out of their way to cultivate an extraordinary community. What was suppose to be a week stay in Santa Cruz ended up being two month. And as a digital nomad I could be anywhere but I’m eager to go back because of just how amazing the community at NextSpace is, also helps that Santa Cruz is beautiful. Also, dog friendly! 🐾 🙌 I’ve also tried one other coworking spot and it seriously makes me appreciate NextSpace even more.

NextSpace is a welcoming, flexible, friendly coworking space with a wonderfully personal approach. Staff members Harlen & Ashleigh are both awesomely hospitable, helpful humans, and they were great about tailoring my membership to my needs (space, quiet, flexibility, and affordability). They also do a great job of encouraging a sense of community and shared responsibility for the space. Plus, free breakfast and afternoon snacks every day, not to mention Happy Hour every Friday? Heck yes. Thank you NextSpace!

Excellent coworking space with great amenities (free coffee and sparkling water!). Highly recommend when you need a quiet place to work or take calls.

Nextspace has the best setup I've seen for coworking. An open plan where you can talk without being shushed yet can still hear and be heard in your virtual meeting with plenty of smaller rooms to jump into for private conversations. There are plenty of well hosted and interesting social events and always good coffee, tea and food. Best, the kind hosts will take great care of you!

When I heard about NextSpace in 2008, I knew something really cool was about to happen and I wanted to be part of it. I’ve been a member ever since. NextSpace provides a community for working professionals, a differentiator from other coworking spaces which provide “rental spaces”. My fellow members span many industries, we’re not just tech workers. I look forward to the many events that happen here, from lunch-n-learns, to the Friday Happy Hours. Whether you work for yourself, or remotely for a company, if you want a break from the WFH life, come join us!

NextSpace Santa Cruz is hands-down the best coworking space I’ve ever experienced! My family of 4 (plus 2 guinea pigs) pack up our RV and move to Santa Cruz for the summer to escape the brutal Texas heat, and I am so grateful to have discovered this gem of a workspace. Harlan and Ashley are truly the best people on earth! They were welcoming, accommodating, and genuinely caring, always going above and beyond to customize the space to meet individual needs. Whether it was parking suggestions, local recommendations, secure bike parking, extra monitors, or a variety of work setups, they had it all covered. Walking in every day and connecting with Harlan on a personal level set such a positive tone for my day. Plus! Ya'll, the community here is legit! Beyond the incredible staff, every member was warm, engaging, and supportive, which made my experience even better. From snacks and drinks to fun happy hours, this space created such a positive work environment. I can't wait to return next summer—Nextspace Santa Cruz, you’ve got a customer for life!

The most underrated part of a coworking space is the community. NextSpace in downtown Santa Cruz is an excellent spot that blends community, entrepreneurship, collaboration, and fun.
