September 6, 2019 – Pacific Workplaces (PAC) announced today that it is opening a new flexible office space location in Larkspur, California. The location will be known as ‘Pacific Workplaces Marin.’

“Our members have been asking us to open a coworking location in Marin County for a long time,” says Pacific Workplaces CEO, Laurent Dhollande. “We already had great coverage of the entire San Francisco Bay Area, better than our competitors Regus or Wework in many ways, but with a big hole in Marin County. That void is now being filled in an ideal location with Pacific Workplaces in Larkspur.”

Pacific Workplaces Marin is located right next to the ferry landing in Larkspur, next to Corte Madera, and in close proximity to the affluent communities of Belvedere, Tiberon, Sausalito and Mill Valley. The Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco are 10 miles away to the South, and San Rafael is less than 4 miles away to the North. The Richmond Bridge is in close proximity, providing an ideal access to the East Bay as well.

Pacific Workplaces acquired an existing operation, formerly known as ‘The Executive Business Center – Larkspur.’ Becky Simi, the Managing Partner who will take charge for the Pacific Workplaces Marin location said, “The business park in which we are located is just awesome, with a very large coworking lounge made available to our members, convenient delicatessens, nice restaurants, and of course, Starbucks in the shopping mall across the street. But the most attractive feature of the development is a large park with beautiful mature trees, where I envision many great outdoor events. The park also provides plenty of quiet spaces for working outside.”

The existing operation, well appreciated by its current members, followed a more traditional Business Center Model of mostly private offices. Becky Simi explained: “We will progressively update the current space by opening up a larger on-site lounge, adding open coworking space, upgrading the equipment and furniture, all with a design that is in line with the times and reflects the Pacific Workplaces approach of combining highly functional private offices with community space to relax and hold events.”

This acquisition, closed on September 3rd, is the 18th Pacific Workplaces location in Northern California. The PAC dense regional portfolio supports members in their need to access workspaces throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. When members need to travel further away, they can access one of the 700 locations available worldwide via the CloudTouchdown network managed by CloudVO, a sister company to Pacific Workplaces, under preferential conditions.
