What Our Members Are Saying

Great meeting space
Next Space is a dream co-working community! I found this gem last summer and I’m so grateful I did. The space is perfect for brainstorming, taking meetings, collaborating, or literally anything related to getting your business done with ease and class. I’ve worked at many office spaces in my career, including other co-working spaces, but this place is different. The community director, Adam, is always anticipating the needs of next-spacers and making sure we all have what we need to be successful, happy and connected during our work day. Super grateful for this special Santa Cruz gem!
I was recently visiting the area and needed a space to work that allowed me to take some virtual meetings. NextSpace was the perfect solution for me. The staff was great, the location was convenient, the office was clean, quiet and very well run. The coffee and cookies were amazing too. So happy to have found this spot on short notice to get a little uninterrupted work done.
Friendly people (both staff and other members) and appreciated the kitchen, but more clarity on where it is and is not appropriate to work depending on your class of membership would be very helpful. I got moved from several locations in the space while on a day pass because I was not the right “level” of membership, and the second time I got moved along while in a work call, I felt a bit like a Pacific Ave transient even though I had paid for day usage. When I asked about booking a room for the day so as to not to get moved around a third time, I was told the prices were “very expensive,” although I was ready to just pay whatever I needed to at that point to not be hassled further. The space could use more power strips for day use desks, and phone rooms for calls. There were three phone rooms and they were full for the whole day. Some meeting rooms were open-topped, which means you could hear others and they could hear you, so buyer beware when booking meeting rooms and needing to talk about private matters. Other members seem friendly and very chatty. Several members are quite loud “walkers and talkers”, so while I was working, now I’ve overheard and learned more than I ever wanted to know about now people can “4x” their crypto investments! Essential accessories to bring are a long power strip, and noise canceling headphones so you can both do calls from the open desks when there are no phone booths, and also flexibly focus from wherever you are sitting in the space.
The best co-working space! I’ve been to many co-working centers around the world and of them all, NextSpace Santa Cruz is the absolute best. The friendliest, best equipped, with the best staff of any co-working space I’ve worked at. My husband and I came here to work for a month because of the great reviews, and pleased to say the super reviews are well deserved. There is plenty of space, including quiet areas, and a friendly and studious vibe. Lots of great food (including bananas, oatmeal and pastries for breakfast), free coffee and drinks, a fridge where you can store your lunch, a separate podcast room and meeting rooms you can request the use of, extra leads and cables if you forget one or a charger one day. But most importantly the staff is super friendly, on it. Harlen and Ashleigh are super and always willing and able to help. I agree with those reviews who said the best part is the community. A great set of people with a productive vibe, and a superb space. Couldn’t recommend more!
Nextspace has the best setup I've seen for coworking. An open plan where you can talk without being shushed yet can still hear and be heard in your virtual meeting with plenty of smaller rooms to jump into for private conversations. There are plenty of well hosted and interesting social events and always good coffee, tea and food. Best, the kind hosts will take great care of you!
Always a good time here. Lots of space, meeting rooms available and friendly staff.
I was traveling with my family and needed a place for a Zoom meeting. NextSpace Santa Cruz was perfect: welcoming and supportive, well-provisioned, private and a perfect balance of professional and homey. I'm grateful to have found it.
Highly recommend. A nice place in Santa cruz to take your meetings. Harlen lee was very helpful, just find him for anything you need.
Excellent plans to fit my needs. The manager is super accommodating and flexible. Harlen wants to make sure you get the support you need 24/7. Ask any question, reasonable requests are filled as soon as possible. The atmosphere is a friendly with fellow Best Space members lending a hand and digital help whenever possible. Great opportunities to network. It is even a quiet place for University students to access Internet, spread out and study with available free snacks at certain times of the week.
